How active are you in game?:
A better question is how active IRL am I? Translation, I'm on the game almost all the time...I do afk a bit but I actually PLAY every day for several hours generally during daytime and or evenings.

Joined any previous guilds? If yes, which one(s) and why are you looking for another guild? (You must list all your previous guild(s) - we will conduct a thorough research. If you're in another guild at the moment. Please state what's your current guild on your application:

PENTAGON. Disbanned immeadeatly upon my resignation after about a year as one of ROIAS version of a guild officer, my official title was "Production Leader" if I recall correctly. Basically meaning I did all the hard work, along with a few other members, and it became a JOB not a GAME. I worked very hard to train my production skills with the help of this guild which at the time was VERY difficult as of course Dreams, Bliss and a few others have always been a stiff competitors when obtaining materials and pricing product with sales. Essentially during a time when I could have profited I gave all my product to the members of the guild as rewards for achievments and donations of materials which I was happy to do, until some of the inner guild politics started shifting. Now as we all know products have advanced..and what was once a comedity is now a financial liablility for training purposes.  Shortly after PENTAGON my husband IRL Jeweldragona created EPILOGUE. Yes several former PENTAGON members followed us and we built a pretty good guild for a while. So good in fact that at one Point ARMSMASTER merged with us Temporarly because Ryu5659 became busy IRL and did not wish to neglect his guild. (he was also a former pentagon member) several months went by and eventually Ryu reinstated ARMSMASTER as an active guild and took back most of his members...some of them became inactive during that time and still sit dormant in the EPILOGUE guild.

Why Dreams?:
Dreams AHHH what can I say about Dreams...Well once upon a time Dreams had a bad reputation(hakking, spamming, modding, etc). I have been observing guild activity from afar for a while now. The guild is FAR different then it was 2 yrs ago from my point of view. The above mentioned annomolies are less prevalent      now-a-days. Dreams members that I encounter in the game are POLITE, once they were POMPASS. Dreams members used to not give me the time of day when I made an offer or inquiry about an item...This is no longer the case. These two examples alone lead me to a few conclusions, Either the dynamic of Dreams has changed, OR I have built a little bit of a reputation of my own...I think/hope its a bit of both. My Motive for Applying for Dreams, is that EPILOGUE guild is pretty inactive. For the most part it is myself, my husband(the leader who is also applying to Dreams), my stepmom(honeywhip) and my 3 children. We all do pretty good as it is, but there are just some things u can't do without a good party. I'v done some lord missions with Dreams members fairly recently, most of the ones I have interacted with are veterins of Mabinogi like myself. and while I can hold my ground, MAN some of u guys are FREGGIN AWESOME. I mean it's totally fun to play with powerful players with well built characters. I'v spent the better part of the last 3 years training my production. About 6 months ago I started SLAMMING combat training and have now mastered almost all of that as well...im READY to actually play...and I want to play with good gamers.

momijikun360: former guild member in EPILOGUE, AND PENTAGON, and all around good buddy in game no matter where our guilds take us.
NAJEExx: I have not spoken to najj about him as a referral to me, but I'm certain he would not mind. I met him back in G1 and he helped this lowely NOOB (me) when he didn't have to. He has always been a loyal buddy and generious with his time when hes available.

How long have you been playing?: about 3 months prior to G2.

What kind of skills/accomplishment do you have?:
Master or of most of production skills or R1, save tailoring and Handicraft which I may NEVER master due to the failures required. Master of most Combat skills still training a few. RA for more then 6 months running now. Currently a guild Officer although I realize its kind of redundant as our guild is inactive. Excellent Transmutation skills in Alchamy. Magic is low, puppetry is NOVICE, Martial arts is at R9. Music is pretty good, still working on it. The new Hidden skills are a little scattered still. and I HIGHLY doubt I will have the AP to train GUNS when they come out.

Any other information you would like for us to know:
I'b briefly mentioned my children. They will be Staying in EPILOGUE regardless of the outcome of this application. as they are not exactly what I would call dedicated playes. As a parent I keep a close eye on them when they are in game as well.  I love Mabi. I love that u can choose many varities of skills as where many games only have one skill base.
I am Dsylexic, if there are miss spellings or grammatical errors...please do not feel compelled to critique it. I don't CARE.
I afk a lot...if u ever need to get a hold of me...note me or IM me. I will reply as soon as I can.

First off thanks for taking the time for filling out a nice detailed app. What I've noticed immediately after reading through the first time is how you've stuck with most of your original group up until now, which really says something about your dedication to a guild, so hats off to you.

My questions for you is:

1. Some of the old Dreams members are still around from the times when it had what you described as a "bad rep". Will this cause any problems? and if so, how will you handle it?

2. I see that you're applying alongside your husband, as you've mentioned previously in your app, what if only one of you were to get accepted?

3. As a full fledged adult, how do you feel about vulgar/perverted discussions in the guild chat? (this is a serious question) We have members from all sorts of age groups and for the most part we are an 18+ guild, so if you join, expect to see some weird stuff in the guild chat... (I'm looking at YOU, Keo)

*A bad reputation is exactly that...a reputation...it is not necessarally FACT. Most of what I have encountered has been of the Rumor varity in which case I take it with a grain of salt. And some of the very persons spreading such rumors are guilty of the acused annomylies themselves, there credibility in my opinion is worthless. I have no direct conflict with any of the current Dreams members that I can recall, even the ones that were around "back in the day." If there is a member who has a problem with me however, I would wish that person to speak with me in game, or even here and I would do what I can to from my end to resolve it diplomatically. I have experience with "drama" within a guild, and quite frankly its silly and I don't wish to waste my time with childish antics. If theres a problem address it and take steps to resolve it. OMG IS IT REALLY THAT EZ!!!??? YES.

2. I see that you're applying alongside your husband, as you've mentioned previously in your app, what if only one of you were to get accepted?

*Well, u mentioned that there is no guarantee that a spouse etc. will be accepted. Actually I quite like this...im not a big fan of Nepitism (which can prevent a worthy candidate from reaching potential just because one didn't know the right person) If I am to be accepted I would be pleased to know that it is based on my own merit. If I should be denied, and my husband accepted then I would simply continue to play as I do, and when dreams needed an extra, I would happily tag along. there would be no hard feelings.

3. As a full fledged adult, how do you feel about vulgar/perverted discussions in the guild chat? *The only time in the past that I have been upset about vulgar and/or adult based chat is when my children were exposed to it. Back when we were a larger active guild, there was a bit of innapropriate chat which was addressed and resolved...part of the prerequisit for being in our guild was to keep the chat clean as "minors" were a known part of our guild. (I'm not talking about the occasional swear word either...im talking GRAPHIC discussion on extremely voyeristic topics. I'm not prepared to explaine to my child what BDSM and snuff is...etc.)  The rules were I don't care what u say in IM...keep public chats clean, as it reflects on the guild as well as the individual(s). Like it or not People will judge u based on how u choose to articulate yourself, so choose wisely.
*That being said, I am not offended by any degree of topics. Since u mentioned this is mostly an ADULT guild I might actually be inclined to participate in conversations containing such content.  I'v been married to Jeweldragona IRL for over 15 years, if u think u got a topic we haven't encounterd BRING IT ON. there is almost nothing that would shock or offend us. I'm a very VERRRRY open minded person.  I might be inclined to shut my mouth if I know specifically that a minor is online. I am a parent, the mentality just kind of goes with the
territory.

I am indeed the referral for Whims and Jeweldragona when he does apply. i have know whims and JD for years and they have been which is a rarity around Tarlach nicest people i have ever met. Both are very hard working and mind there own business and never seen them in any drama. in my honest opinion they would make great additions to Dreams. i dont have any questions for you good luck on your application.

Im another referral for whims and JD (Jeweldragona). I've known them since PENTAGON, where Whims helped me with my production  (weaving and tailoring and later some handicraft) and i helped her gather materials and such. When penta collapsed i joined Epilogue. I didn't necessarily stay in Epi cause i wanted to try out different guilds here and there but i always stopd by inbetween guilds. Their family is sweet and always a pleasure to hang out with be it a dungeon,sm or an event.

JD is always a fun conversationalist and is always a good person to do dungeons/sms with and usually leaves me in the dust XD (damage wise) which makes me want to up my fighting skills or will/str or smtin.

Both of them are awesome to do anything with really <3

Life skilling is not an easy undertaking at times, I certainly can sympathize with you on that point.  It takes time and dedication so it's always nice to see another life skiller apply to the guild.  Additionally, I believe loyalty to be one of the most important traits a person can carry and you've shown that you are a loyal individual being that you've only been in two guilds your whole Mabinogi experience.  I commend you on that.  Now, onto the questions.

There are times the guild gets pretty quiet, although people are online and active, just doing their own things.  We try our best to respond to each other in a timely fashion but sometimes it's not always possible to get around to chatting.  How do you feel about this?

We've also had times in the past where several members left at once causing a dramatic decline in activity within the guild.  How would you deal with this situation?

On a more light-hearted note I am curious as to the origin of your characters name .  Of course you don't have to answer if it's too personal as it's not directly related to your application but -  How did you come up with your character's name?

*That's kind-of the allure to Dreams for me. I'm very self motivated, so if there are spells where people are busy training their own agendas, I'm perfectly content doing the same. I will always respond to a guild member ASAP. as I mentioned in another post I do AFK a lot. sending me an IM is probably the best way to get my attention As I pass my computer I can see that someone is talking to me. and generally as soon as I notice I will respond. Also the chime gets my attention when someone IM me no matter where I am in the house...I turn my sound off when I go to bed at night so it dosent wake me up. I have weird sleeping patterns so when I go to sleep I like to be left alone.
*On the latter: I'm a pretty paitent person. If I'm trying to contact someone, In the event of quiet activity for lengthy times, like I said before, I just find something else to do.
*Another point: do I enjoy chatting with other players on a social level? sure...do I have to? NO.
*(momi and naj: both have been buddies for a while. they know that if they talk to me, sometimes it takes a while but I ALWAYS get back with them; and I always follow through on my commitments)
*Longwinded answer short: I can Handel it.

*It's always stressfull when drama finds its way into a guild. when it gets bad enough that members leave abruptly...what can u do? Of course those do tend to be active players so activity thusly will decline. No worries though. What is broken can be fixed, what is lost can be found. etc. pun cliche' euphemism.etc.
In the end the solid people will stick around. And I wish those who choose to depart all the fortune they may seek.

Ha ha...this is FUN!!!

Whimsey (original main-human) currently roughly level 7-800 ish.
I chose THIS name because it reflects my artistic and creative personality...and the fact that im blond which should be redefined as (ditzy not stupid imo)because I am exactly that and I know it. I built the character to Look as much like myself as possible, including the gear I would choose to wear etc. I tend to be a little on the butch side irl...I like doing "guy" stuff. When I have worked in the past I did male type jobs...im not a professional like my husband...im a manual labor worker..etc. so Whimsey would wear clothes that were femenin and butch at the same time her colors were black and blue.

unlike some people online....who enjoy being someone they are not(totally understand) I actually get more of a kick out of being exactly who I am. making characters that show my personality from a visual stand-point. and with different characters reflecting different parts of my personality.  Whimsguy is a blacksmith for example...irl I am a silversmith.(unemployed)but one none the less.

When iria came out I had not yet bought extra characters...so once I got free elf and giant and expanded my bank...that's when I started going a little nutz with the "WHIMS"(somewhere around the time of the first iria treasure hunt...OMG I still have some of those items...such a horder)

Whimsey, Whimshe, Whimself, Whimshrek(giant), Whimsberg(giant), Whimsir, Whimshim, Whimsman, Whimsky, Whimsai, Whimsjunk, Whimsmats, and amongst them Whimsguy  I have 19 characters total...I think like 5  of them are not named whims. I no longer play any of them most of them I never played. except for extra bodies during events...such as the current event "sand sculpture" I try to log them everyday for preim. presents. so certain events are good for that as im sure many people know.

I chose Guy as my 2nd main in the beginning because he was purple(its as good a reason as any I guess)...I played whimsey as my combat character, and Guy was my production mule...After I trained him in prod a bit, I realized what a better character over all he was...even though his combat was low at the time he could still fight better then whimsey....(he couldn't take a hit to save his life back then, but his dmg was pretty awesome) and with his life skills, his DEX was the first thing to get dramatically high. I decided to convert him to my main and start him with archery accordingly. as I had no desire to train life skills on whimsey after the lengthy prossess of training guy.
Quite frankly it was toooo time consumeing to keep going back and fort between two major characters ...so I abandoned whimsey (who I still love to play dress-up with along with all my other characters that I don't play)and started seriously training guy.

What do you think are your strengths and weaknesses in game and as a person?
in game: STRENGTHS:
*Among the obvious skills I have trained, I actually know how to use what I have trained, and do all the little things to the best of my capacity to tweak them..example:if im goin for critical hits, I put on luk n crit gear, change titles etc. I utilize all the assets that I have built to achieve the current goal. over the years I built a vast inventory of space filled with quite a varity of specialty equipment geared with specific goals in mind.
*In pentagon...at the time I resigned I was roughly r8 or 7 smith. after that I was on my own to fund my supplies for training. for the bulk of my training I have always bought materials. ( here comes the point) ANY lifeskiller will tell you how many billions of gold it costs to do this. I have a KEEN ability to find interesting and or valueable items, I know when they are a good investment and how to turn a profit...buy low sell high. in doing so I funded my entire life skill training. (PS. the current dye market is kinda pizzing me off)
*Extreemly Dilligent. ammounts to a bit of a CDO problem (that's OCD in alphabetical order)
in game: WEAKNESSES: While I have completed all the generation story lines except g16 final (saving for a double rainbow) I still feel inadequate from a comparison standpoint, it just feels like after 3.5 -4 years that I should be farther with my skill training (I blame this on AP, although in the past 6 months its become a lot better.)
*I'm always broke in game cuz I blow my gold as soon as I get in on investments, materials, and equip that I cannot make ...I generally invest like this: 50%profit =shopping money 50%profit= reinvest... iv learned that using this techinique leaves a constant revolving flow of income as long as I invest wisely. (occasionally I have a dumb investment and im totally broke for about a week)
*ima lowballer, probably pizzed a few ppl off, actually I know I have haha.
*ima looter, if u drop stuff I WILL pick it up. generally I will say something and give it back if a person asks...I do not steel...there is a difference. in a dungeon...I will pick something up for fear of it disseapering and imeadeatly give it to the person it dropped for. I will pick up all abandoned items in a dungon if ppl leave the room.(time consuming but good supplemental funding)
I will NEVER steel a persons HUGE luckey unless that persons name is JEWELDRAGONA(he has a tendency to let his money bag over flow anyway)

IRL Strengths: *I'v been married to an electrical engineer for 15 years..do you have any idea how difficult that is? (joking...sort-of)
*I have 3 kids...need i say more on that?
*I'm a very strong, person, and personality, I have to be, and i like who i am, although I do try to be humble to keep my own ego in check as I realize I deffinatly have one.. my life has thrown me some curve balls which has deffinatly hardened me a bit, made me cynical, even bitter at times. (idk that might be a "weakness" trait too.
*Im very creative and resourceful and extremely versitle in what I can do. from Art and music. to finiancial planning to landscaping and operating large macheniery. Im excellent at logistics and research and origizionational planning.(OMG that sounded like a resume...im not gonna delete it though) anything iv ever attempted I have been able to learn and excel at it. I love working with my hands which comes in handy(du-du-teee pun) with my choice of interests. I have an "instant recall" mind set. I don't generally remember everything all the time, but when a subject arises that I have experience in I can recall acceptional details about it. I have a wealth of knowledge, and a desire to learn more.
*OCD: forces me to finish things

IRL:WEAKNESSES: I tend to be a little scatterbrained sometimes...i Multi task a little too much. which can leave lesser things un finished (like that blanket i started crocheting 2 years ago)(totally contradicts my OCD.)
*I cannot talk and think at the same time ...which is frustrating because i have a lot to say. but when i have a thought that needs to be expressed verbaly i have to say it imeadeatly or it comes out wrong. i stutter when i get flustered or try to talk to fast.
*I do not sugar coat the truth, which can come off as incensitive
*opinionated (which can be a strength depending on your perspective)
my perspective is...if u don't want my honest opinion...don't tell me your business.
*dyslexic (no i didn't spell it right.. the computer auto corrected it)
*a lack of tolerance for stupidity..im not talking ignorance...im talking down right lack of common sense here...someone once said "i am ignorant of all that i do not know" this is something that has always rung as a wise statement to me because ppl often mistake ignorance for stupidity. ppl that make that mistake, need to look up the deffinitions of those two words in a dictionary. (coughJDcough)
*sleeping disorder, undiagnosed but its there.. not sure exactly how to classifly it without sounding totally neurotic.
*neurotic, many tedius unusual habbits, like turnning the water on when i go potty cuz the sound helps me go. etc.(tmi sry)
OCD: Prevents me from starting things cuz i know once i start i will have to finish it.
I have so may traits...IMO it balances. i am who i am and there are reasons behind it all... I have changed much over the years...and i speculate that im not done yet.

How do you accept weaknesses and what do you do to try to overcome them?
Recognizing weaknesses and accepting them

*I do not accept anything i don't like about myself. To accept it is to admit defeat ...i can recognize them for sure...take my dyslexia for example. I CAN do all the spelling and grammer correctly, i have extensive education in ENGLISH. I AM a published WRITER. When i apply myself i CAN do it right. it just takes soooooooo long. Takes me like a month to read a 200 page novel. to give u an idea. Oddly enough i express myself much better in writing then i do verbally. hehe i just thought of something....u know how "yota" from star wars talks....if books were written the way he talked...i would read MUCH FASTER.
*I know im opinionated and that can be insensitive...i do not enjoy hurting ppls feelings. im still not gonna sugar coat it, but i will apologize if/when i cross that line.
*I generally surround myself with people who are not stupid. (snobbish but true) and yes i do think highly of my own intlect.(also snobbish)

What do you feel makes you as an individual unique from others?
*Well I know Im unique, but its not really a goal...it just is. Realized i was not a typical person when i was young. Discovering my tallents over the years, and constant self reflection etc.. Most people are "freaks" at heart...you only get to see what they let u see... and all u gotta do to get ppl to show u their "freak" is to show em a little bit of your own. I mean what is normal? what is unique? society suppresses sooo much of what is acceptable as to who we really are. its sad really, the world would be a much simpler place otherwise.

And i leave it to the guild officers to draw a line IF there is one to be had.
