Why Dreams?:

Dreams is the quintessential ”pro” guild that all mmorpg's seem to engender. Originally, that was what drew me to Dreams––that and the enigma that seems to surround the guild. I have been an inhabitant of Erinn since June 2008 and during my time as a human I witnessed the creation of many guilds, but the most steadfast has been Dreams.

As for why I am applying now: I think that I am finally worthy of consideration for membership within Dreams. I mentioned that I was a witness to the growth of Dreams over the years as an onlooker, but I never felt as though I was a good enough player to cover the combat portion of being a Dreams guild member.

Incontrovertibly I think that the atmosphere of Dreams and I will go well together. From what I have read on this forum and what I have been told by current members, the Dreams community seems to be exactly what I have been longing for: a professional, close-knit group of players who play the game well and are welcoming.

Thank you everyone for your interest and consideration in my application.

Which areas of Mabinogi draw your interest the most and what goals are you set on accomplishing currently?
I enjoy the seemingly endless possibilities that Mabinogi offers. The infinite skills, appearances, and activities are what I think make Mabinogi unique and they were what initially drew me to the game.

My long term goal right now is to complete the Alchemy tab. I am well on my way, but I have a while to go yet. A nearer long term goal is to cap Rain Casting.

Short term goal is to continue struggling through Alchemy Mastery .0000000000001 exp at a time.

What do you like about brown, and is there a particular shade that just tickles your fancy?

I enjoy its warmth. Some call it a neutral color, but I definitely feel as though brown is alive and beautiful. I particularly enjoy browns in-between light and dark. Some call my favorite shade “chocolate”, but recently I have found myself being drawn to darker hues.

I have not completed my degree yet. I am currently a second year student at a private university. Undoubtedly there will be occasions where I am unable to log in because of late-night labs or all-nighters. I can only hope this will not be viewed as a hinderance of my ability to contribute to the guild.

1) What made you come back?

I never really wanted to leave Mabinogi, but I had to do it for own good. If left to my own devices I would be online within seconds...I had to try and restrain myself at least during my first two semesters of university. Additionally, I own a macbook pro so I didn't install programs necessary to play Mabinogi on it until recently.

2) What would make you take another hiatus?

I should hope not, and I can't foresee any reason why I would at the moment. With that said, I can't guarantee the future but I hope that I will not have to.

3) What would you bring to the guild?

I think that I would bring some personality (I'm fun too! ), and positivity. For combat, I would supply alchemy and music! Also, if I ever became a recruitment officer I would like to think that I would bring objectivity.


4) Any changes to your personality since taking a break?

Honestly, I think I have become a bit less naive. I witnessed the fickleness and cruelty of other recently, and it took me a while to realize that I don't have to be jaded, that I can continue on being positive and successful.

First and foremost, very impressive academic achievements. I applaud you for taking on such an intensive major and being able to keep up with the pace of it.

I, myself, am currently a Health and Rehabilitation Science Major and I couldn't imagine your major being any easier than mine, so kudos to you.

I only have one question for you:

Correct me if I am wrong, but you seem like a very humble, intelligent, and introverted person.

As far as guild chat goes, we can get pretty... stupid to put it lightly. Conversations can turn taboo rather quickly, and go to some pretty NSFW areas.

Would you be comfortable with this?

I don't think intelligence and introversion are correlated. I have become increasingly extroverted recently as I believe it is a necessary trait to further one's career. As for the NSFW guild chat question, I am a 20 year old college student; I think that statement will suffice.

I would have to say no. At least, I don't believe so at this moment. We'll just have to see when the time arrives.

I am currently afraid of the following: linear algebra, differential equations, and biochemistry 2.

Genomics (taking next semester), computer science stuff (no previous experience), all bioinformatics courses, and research.
