This is a tough one. I've been in many guilds since 2009. My very first one was Aurion, a guild I was officer to. A small friendly circle. I was also in Osmosis, Apotheoses, Sospita, Apocalypstic, Delusions, Pinnacle, Club, Primera, and Tsunderes. Sprinkle a couple failed guilds either I or a close friend tried to make and it failed instantly, and there's my history.
All of these guilds have either one or two reasons for the reason why I am no longer in them; either everyone eventually vanished, or there was some kind of drama that caused me to leave.
The guild I miss the most is Primera, it the first time I had to really apply for a guild. We were a nice group of people who just all eventually lost interest in the game or went separate ways.

Why Dreams?:
This question for a lot of people is probably always the hardest to answer. I have a few reasons as to why. First of all, I have friends in Dreams. Who wouldn't want to be in a guild with friends? Well, considering my guild history it's not just friends that makes a good guild. Which brings me to reason number two. Dreams has been around for as long as I can remember. It's a name that, to me, holds meaning. Dreams accepts players who spend time and effort into the game, and into relationships with others. It's an intimidating guild of close-knit players who will sometimes let fresh meat slip in. From what goes on there, I don't know. But it has to be something not just good; something great. Whatever Dreams has been doing all these years, it must be something right.

Any other information you would like for us to know:
I've been friends with Kosta since the very beginning, we knew each other in high school and she is the one who introduced me to this game. We've been best friends ever since. I hold her opinion in high regard, and when I asked her about Dreams all she did was tell me how great it was to finally find a spot that was chill, fun, and drama-free. We've been in a couple guilds together here and there.
Alchemy is someone I've known for a couple years now as well. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting him and his girlfriend in-person at San Japan. We've also been in a guild together before, and I can safely say I enjoyed every mind-numbing MA spam session I had the pleasure to be with him in.
I'm primarily a Puppeteer when it comes to gameplay. However since I have a varying range of skills I also switch between (of course) Final Hit, Guns, Range, Magic, Ninja, and maybe, just maybe, Alchemy.
When it comes to gear I have a couple good things sprinkled here and there; I'm currently working on obtaining a r1 set of something.

What is your opinion on mods/hacks?
When it comes to Mabinogi I divide 'mods' and 'hacks' in two. When I talk about modding I refer to client-sided only mods such as Tiara (Datapacker) and Abyss (dll injection). A 'hacking' tool would best be described as pake (packet editing, forcing the server to think you're doing something you shouldn't be, etc.).

My opinion is thus; modding enhances Mabinogi by adding or removing features from the client to bring it to a more 'playable' state. Everyone complains about the font being a huge issue, which it really is. It's not completely unplayable, but when you have large parties and take the game seriously enough to where if you accidentally hit "L" it hinders you, then using client modifications are a huge benefit.
Pake is a different story. The usage of the program basically shut down the poor new-coming EU server since their team could not handle it yet. It's an exploit tool. The problem isn't giving an unfair advantage, because the tool was public anyone could pick it up, but the problem was simply sucking the fun out of the game. There was no challenge, levels were given away, items dropped in value, all of that. One could argue that these exploits were fun in themselves, though having too much of a "good" thing always backfires.

If a large group of people leave and it gets quiet, what would make you stick around? Would the guild still be something you find worth investing time into?
I believe that Dreams treats its members as family. I don't see my family every day, but when we do see each other it's always a good time. Quiet time isn't always a bad thing. In addition, there are a couple people that are in the guild that I talk to outside of the guild's perimeters anyways. Lasting relationships. That would make me stick around, and that is where I find worth in investing my time.

It is no secret that Mabi has slowed down and that a lot of people have hit endgame and at that point people hit a wall and it would be easy to leave or quit, how can you avoid this?  
I don't think it's something that can really be "avoided". However people kind of remedy this unfortunate event by other paths. I know people start new characters, or find other goals to achieve. Some just grind it out and make tons of money. That is up to the player.

What do you do to keep yourself motivated in game?
I won't lie, motivation has always been my weak point in any aspect of life. It's hard for me to find, and even harder for me to keep hold of. Yet something keeps me going in Mabinogi. Though I took a long break, when I came back I had the urge to rank skills I had always dreaded doing. (Namely Potion Making, Herbalism, Metal Conversion, Healing, Party Healing...) I've been planning now on working on Magic Shields and Transmutation Alchemy skills. (Wish me luck on that...)
There is an invisible force that drives me sometimes. I believe it has to do with the sense of accomplishment that I get at the end, and the fact that I actually enjoy turning on some music and grinding the same thing endlessly for hours. (I'm looking at you, Dual Guns and Ninja...)

Have you considered what you might do if you reach "endgame"?
I think I'm getting pretty close to "endgame". I have found in Mabi that no one really gets there, "endgame" is subjective. There is always something to be worked on. Theoretically if someone were to cap and Master all skills, have the "best gear" (suited to their play style) available, there would still be things to do. If the person doesn't wish to continue that character they can move on to another one. Otherwise, that is where I think other aspects of the game could be focused on. Some examples are Fashinogi, friendships, and helping low level and new players.
When I reach the point of my subjective "endgame" I will then consider my path. For now, I just want to make friends and enjoy the game while I do. No matter what, my friends will stay with me.

I prefer running with a party! It's more fun that way, not to mention it gets things done faster and if it's a daily, everyone gets it all done at once.

Ahh, this is a tough one. I'm generally very open about my personal life to my friends; to a point of course. I'm currently living with my boyfriend (who has no interest in Mabi, though I made him a character to marry in-game lmao) who is a bit of an 'internet personality'. He is one of four hosts on a Podcast which has 125k subscribers. You'll likely hear me mention this quite a lot - it's a big part of our lives! We go on vacation for fan meet-ups quite a bit, and most recently we were in New Orleans for a week!
As for personal goals, well. I'm just a silly girl learning about adult life and working part-time as a cashier. I'd love to be something more than that, but mental illness can get in the way of it. For now, I just want to ride the waves.

Have you used mods?
Yes. I currently use Abyss, for reasons I had stated above. Namely; "quality of life". I have used mods since about G8, and I joined in G7.

What type of mental illness
Anxiety and Depression.

if it effects your ability to remain calm would you let us know?  
I'm not an angry person. I've learned to live with what I have, and if I'm going into an 'episode' you can rest assured I won't bring it into the guild chat. I have close friends who I trust to talk to.

Does this illness complicate abilities to make relationships/friendships?  
From what I have experienced, no not at all. Actually it has helped me in most cases. I connect to others with the same issues better.

Don't worry about it! I'm not sensitive to it. There are very few things I am "sensitive" to. But I have the peace of mind to not 'go-off' on someone just because they hit a nerve without knowing.

I'm fine with sharing these details publicly, as it's been a part of me for most of my life.

What skill do you dislike the most?
It's hard to say, I dislike a few skills out there for different reasons. I dislike Magic Craft and Hillwen Engineering because of how ridiculous they are to rank. I dislike Taming Wild Animals because it gives no stats at all. I'm dreading ranking Synthesis, Fragmentation, and Enchant, but their usefulness is worth it.

and which do you like the most?
I love Bash, Lightning Rod, and Act 7: Climactic Crash for the sheet amount of damage they do. I love Battlefield Overture for giving everyone even more damage! I love Lullaby, because I use it often if I'm in a pinch (same reason I also love Crisis Escape!)

Your view on the state of mabinogi and what it is like currently?
Since I have taken a year break it's hard to answer this one. Since maybe 2012 I have thought "Mabinogi is dying. Just watch." But they've managed to continue the game for far longer than I imagined it would live. What is bringing people in, causing them to spend their money on this game over and over again? Maybe the answer to that is irrelevant. Mabinogi probably isn't in it's golden days anymore. However, the fact that is brings people together just like it did 'back in the day' remains. Nostalgia goggles taken off, I think the game is a lot more newbie-friendly than previous years, making it easier to pick up and play.

If you had to choose one of the following, stats or reforges, and why?
This is a broad question. Stats or reforges in regards to what? Let's answer a couple different variations. I have time to think and type this out.
Would I prefer the game be more stat or reforge oriented?
Stats. Reforges are great, I don't hate them by any means. And it's a great way for Nexon to make money - to keep the game running and well. But if I had to choose, I would pick stats because in a lot of cases reforges just make the game too easy. Mabinogi is different when it comes to gear. Any level, and you can be wearing gear that is worth 50 times your weight in gold. (Okay maybe that's a bit much but you get my point?) For the right price, a complete newbie could be rockin' reforges that are far past a veteran player who doesn't sink money into the game. Stats are different, those are earned. They're a reward for working hard towards your character.

Would I prefer to grind up my stats and ignore reforges, or spend gold/cash on reforges?
Unfortunately this question is a bit of a no-brainer. You really need both. When it comes down to it, I'd sooner sink my gold/cash into a set of reforged gear than using that money to buy skill pots or materials for ranking skills; because in this instance, reforges that I buy will enhance the skills I already have ranked. Reforges that give you stats over skill modification are useless.
Reforges have been a topic of controversy for a long, long time. They are very "pay2win". However, as I mentioned before, the servers must be paid for somehow. I'm no apologist and I don't sink hundreds of dollars into Mabi (anymore) but you have to look at the business reality of it.

I just wanted to update that I finally made it to Master Cleric since I put in the application! I finally have Vate, Soul Star, and Druid talent titles!

With your main character being near end-game, what will keep you motivated to continue playing Mabinogi?

I know on Roxxaz I have come very close to end-game and the remaining skills I have left are bullshit, boring, and expensive.

Personally I have started a Giant for fun, even though I don't see myself playing on it for very long until I grow bored of it... but I digress.

Anywho, what will you do to motivate yourself to continue playing Mabinogi?

Tough question! You're making me think. I like your quote, I'm a firm believer in balance; if I really want something from anyone, I should give back as well!
That being said, I hope to bring some immediate personality to the guild - a strange sense of humor, long walks along Port Qilla, or Scathach Beach if you're feeling particularly risky. Something like simple good company. For more game-related qualities: a decent character for runs and dailies, your personal slave grinding buddy. Wish I could say I had some of the more useful life skills or Enchant at r1, but alas I do not. I hope that about covers it.

I actually already answered this question above, in my second post. I'll expand upon it a little, though. Since I didn't say exactly what I would do when my main character reached that point. Truth is, I don't really know for sure. But like you have started an alt, I might do the same. I have an elf that I've worked on a little - when I was blackrobed, I played her for a while actually. I might switch to her, or I'll focus on some other aspect like hoarding AP or merchanting. It's all up in the air, but I know I'll want to continue the game when I hit that point.
